Our Story: A Patient-First Vision
Having graduated together from the University of Melbourne in 1997, Steve Dinh from Melbourne and Quent Wain from Gippsland began practising in their respective communities. Over the next six years their friendship grew closer and they discovered they shared the same fundamental vision for eye care. "We wanted the freedom to put our patients’ health first, without compromise, so we decided to create a brand of eye care that could deliver that."
This shared passion led to the establishment of their first Acuity Eyecare practices in Doncaster and Sale in 2003. Their dedication to genuine, patient-centric care quickly fostered growth, leading to the opening of three more clinics in Epping, Wallan and most recently in 2025, Portarlington. Their commitment ensures you receive outstanding eyecare specialist services that prioritise you.
